How much does pressure washing cost?

There are a couple factors that go into pricing out a pressure washing job:

  • Size of the job

  • Location (i.e. distance traveled to the home)

  • Chemicals required (if any)

  • Tools and equipment necessary

  • Complexity of the job

New England Surface Solutions does their best to run a lean operation to keep the cost competitive.

They calculate the prices based on the above items as follows:

  • Standard house wash (siding, soffits, facia) is based on the square footage of the home (sometimes, the severity of the algae growth is considered)

    • Square footage is also the factor for walkways, pool decks, sand and seal of pavers, roof washes, etc.

  • Jobs outside of the local service area (may depend on the company) will have an additional fee for driving time required to get to the job

  • Frequently, chemicals are used to complete the work requested. The amount used is factored into the price in the square footage of the home.

  • Equipment wear and tear is also a factor. Unfortunately, the machines and tools don’t last forever and need maintenance or periodic repair.

  • The complexity of the job is subjective - a home with massive shrubs or trees against the house may bring up the price slightly as it takes effort to work around them
