How much does pressure washing cost?
There are a couple factors that go into pricing out a pressure washing job:
Size of the job
Location (i.e. distance traveled to the home)
Chemicals required (if any)
Tools and equipment necessary
Complexity of the job
New England Surface Solutions does their best to run a lean operation to keep the cost competitive.
They calculate the prices based on the above items as follows:
Standard house wash (siding, soffits, facia) is based on the square footage of the home (sometimes, the severity of the algae growth is considered)
Square footage is also the factor for walkways, pool decks, sand and seal of pavers, roof washes, etc.
Jobs outside of the local service area (may depend on the company) will have an additional fee for driving time required to get to the job
Frequently, chemicals are used to complete the work requested. The amount used is factored into the price in the square footage of the home.
Equipment wear and tear is also a factor. Unfortunately, the machines and tools don’t last forever and need maintenance or periodic repair.
The complexity of the job is subjective - a home with massive shrubs or trees against the house may bring up the price slightly as it takes effort to work around them
