New England Surface Solutions Terms and Conditions
1. Services Provided
New England Surface Solutions provides professional pressure washing and soft washing of building exteriors, including but not limited to driveways, sidewalks, patios, siding, fences, decks, and other approved surfaces.
Services are performed using professional equipment and industry-accepted methods designed to safely clean exterior surfaces.
A standard “house wash“ is defined as the cleaning of the siding, soffits, and facia of black or green algae growth, loose dirt, and grime and does not include pine needles, maple tree seeds, and / or leaves, etc. This also does not include oxidation of the siding, soffits, facia, or gutters which includes black streaks on gutters. These are separate services offered.
2. Service Limitations
While we take every precaution to protect your property, pressure washing involves inherent risks due to the nature of water pressure and surface conditions.
We do not guarantee:
Removal of stains caused by oil, paint, oxidation, hard water, pine needles, leaves, or organic growth embedded in surfaces
Restoration of surfaces that are already damaged, deteriorated, or improperly installed
Results beyond what is reasonably achievable with professional pressure washing
The removal or treatment of mold on any surface (see our blog post on the difference between mold and algae)
We will not be responsible for damage caused by:
Pre-existing surface damage (cracks, chips, loose materials, rot, flaking paint)
Improper construction, poor maintenance, or substandard materials
Electrical issues, water intrusion, or landscaping damage unless caused by gross negligence
It is the customer’s responsibility to notify us of any known issues prior to service.
3. Customer Responsibilities
Before service, customers agree to:
Provide clear access to all areas being cleaned
This includes removing all furniture, planters
Ensure pets are secured and personal items are removed from the work area
Provide access to water and electricity if required
Close all windows and doors properly
Failure to prepare the property may result in delays, rescheduling, or additional charges.
4. Pricing and Payments
Pricing is based on the scope of work agreed upon prior to service. Additional services requested onsite may result in added charges.
Payment terms:
A deposit may be required to hold the appointment date.
Same day service does not require a deposit
Payment is due upon completion of service, unless otherwise agreed in writing
We accept cash, checks, electronic payment (Venmo, PayPal)
Late or non-payment may result in additional fees or refusal of future service
5. Cancellations and Rescheduling
We understand that schedules change.
Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled service time
Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice may be subject to a cancellation fee
No-shows may be charged the full service amount
Weather-related delays are handled at our discretion and will be rescheduled at no additional cost.
6. Satisfaction and Disputes
If you are not satisfied with the service, you must notify us within 24 hours of completion. We will make reasonable efforts to address concerns when possible.
Refunds are not guaranteed and are evaluated on a case-by-case basis
7. Liability
New England Surface Solutions carries appropriate insurance. Our liability is limited to the cost of the service provided. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
8. Acceptance of Terms
By scheduling and receiving service from New England Surface Solutions, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
